Speaker 1:

Hello, this is Blair Stanislao with the Happy Lion Center. Welcome to our podcast, mystical and Infamous, where we have playful and easy conversations about anything mystical, getting to the heart of all things, strange and weird. Join us in a bit of magical tomfoolery, spreading the alchemy of love and light. And now we invite you to enjoy the show Remembering the True Self. Remembering the true self feels familiar in the deepest sense, when you can't recall exactly when something happened, but you know it happened and have great clarity about the mark it left on your soul. It's that sneaking feeling that something did happen, but you can't recall any details yet. You can feel the feelings left behind. Remembering the true self is vague, but yet specific in the strangest of ways. It is the feeling you get when you adore something Butterflies, the sun warming your skin on a cold day, the smell of rain in the distance, a friend's voice calling out for your attention, your spouse's loving touch or a hug from your cherished caregiver. Remembering the true self is familiar and loving. It is in the smell that brings back a flood of memories in an instant.

Speaker 1:

Remembering the true self is quick and clear, yet easily forgotten by our minds. It is also the person who grates on your last nerve, the one who pussies you so much. You find yourself sludging through a tornado of emotions, only to return to yourself with more clarity and inner strength than ever before. It is in the lost love who caused the same. It is the parent who created the environment where you felt unloved, abandoned and forsaken.

Speaker 1:

Remembering the true self is recognizing the part of your struggles which were vital to the process of you becoming more of yourself. It is the very essence of what helps you through all of your traumas. The true self is calling you gently and persistently, through all of that, to remember. The true self drives you to push on. It is the very spark of life. It is home. It is the very spark of life. It is home. Your true self is asking you to remember so that you will see, with your humanness, who you really are. Your true self will reveal just how perfectly imperfect and powerful you are. Thanks for listening to this episode of Mystical and Infamous Podcast with the Happy Lion Center.
